I can't get IC Personal Edition Browser to start, what's wrong?
- First, make sure you are logged in as Administrator to install the software.
- Second, make sure that you've downloaded and installed VMWare's(TM) VMPlayer(R) 2.0 or later. IC Personal Edition Browser requires VMPlayer(R).
- Third, restart your machine per VMPlayer's instructions.
- Fourth, run VMPlayer, accept its End User License Agreement (EULA), then close VMPlayer.
- Fifth, now start IC Personal Edition Browser. Unblock any communications blocked by a personal firewall.
- Select Copy to the VMPlayer dialog box, then continue. IC Personal should start now.

Select "Copy It," then continue.
Back to topWhat is Auto-Restoral and how do I set my Auto-Restoral time and session preferences?
- Auto-Restoral will periodically restore the browser machine to its pristine state—which will get rid of any infections or malware the machine may have picked up while you were browsing. It is a good idea to periodically restore the browser to make sure you are in a clean state. This happens by default every time you start the browser, but if you are in an extended session, you can set the Auto-Restoral time interval using the "File–>Preferences" menu from the Console window.
- From here you can enable or disable Auto-Restoral. You can set the Auto-Restoral interval under "Advanced Preferences" from this window.
- You can choose Privacy Mode or you can select which data you would like to keep from session to session.
Can I print or download files to my desktop?
- These features are not currently supported in Internet Cleanroom Personal Edition Browser Public Beta.
- However, you can download a file to your browser OS, then, using the browser with a web mail service, mail it to yourself and download it to your host machine using a separate mail client. However, we recommend against installing any executables on your host machine that you do not trust.
How do I get support?
- No commercial support for IC Personal Edition Browser Public Beta is provided.
- Support for 3rd party software distributed with Personal Edition Browser is not provided either. Please visit the respective web sites for such 3rd party software for support options.
